Travel Physical Therapist General Job
Physical Therapist (General) position in Tacoma, Washington. This travel assignment begins 07/13/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,448 to $2,480, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shifts are 08:00–16:30, 5 days per week. Work in a skilled nursing setting supporting resident rehabilitation and mobility goals on a temporary assignment basis.

Responsibilities
- Conduct physical therapist evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for residents.
- Implement PT interventions including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, ROM, and modalities as appropriate.
- Monitor progress, reassess, and modify plans of care to optimize outcomes.
- Document assessments, treatments, and progress notes in the resident’s medical records.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nurses, OT, SLP, rehab aides) to coordinate care.
- Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention strategies.
Requirements
- Physical Therapist degree from an accredited program.
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing/geriatric rehabilitation setting.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; proficient with electronic medical records.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours (36 per week) on a 08:00–16:30, 5x8 schedule.
