This is a temporary, travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for high-acuity medical-surgical and respiratory care unit patients per physician orders
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, wound care, and IV protocols; monitor vital signs and respond to clinical changes
- Monitor telemetry and assess for dysrhythmias; escalate rhythm or rhythm-related concerns per protocol
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred)
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (nursing, physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to develop and adjust patient care plans
- Maintain patient and family safety, infection control practices, and provide patient education as appropriate
- May be required to float to other unit locations within the system as needed

Requirements
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact state at time of submission; Nursys license verification required
- 1–2 years minimum Med-Surg experience; previous critical care experience welcome if comfortable with Med-Surg ratios and acuity
- BLS required; NHISS needed prior to start; ACLS preferred
- Up-to-date resume showing 2+ years of Med-Surg experience and documentation of travel experience; skills checklist matching specialty; driver’s license with address that matches demographics
- Dysrhythmia exam to be completed during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%
- EMR experience preferred (Cerner); willingness to work in a high-acuity Med-Surg environment with fluctuating patient loads
- RTO (time off) must be included at time of submission
- Unit specifics: 16-bed Med-Surg/Respiratory Care unit; patient ratios typically 4–5, sometimes up to 6
