- Implement therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait training, ROM, and strength training
- Reassess progress regularly and adjust plans; document outcomes in the chart
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, safety, and care strategies; monitor for adverse responses
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards, regulatory requirements, and infection control practices
Requirements
- Current physical therapist license in Washington state or eligibility to practice in Washington
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or official clinical-equivalency for PT practice
- Experience in skilled nursing facility or geriatric rehabilitation settings preferred
- Ability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; competent documentation practices
