Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language pathology evaluations and screenings for students in K-12.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans.
- Deliver direct therapy and provide consultative services to students, teachers, and families.
- Collect and document progress data, maintain timely notes, and communicate findings to the IEP team.
- Collaborate with educators, family members, and multidisciplinary staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain compliance with district policies, state regulations, and professional standards for school-based SLP practice.
Requirements
- Active Oregon SLP license (no Educational Certification required)
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (standard credential for the profession)
- Experience: School-based or K-12 setting experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a K-12 school setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Must be able to meet assignment requirements and background standards for a school-based role
