Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive labor and delivery care for high-risk perinatal patients, including monitoring and managing labor progression
- Interpret electronic fetal monitoring, respond to abnormal tracings, and coordinate timely interventions
- Administer medications (e.g., oxytocin, magnesium sulfate) and assist with cesarean deliveries and perioperative care
- Provide newborn assessment, neonatal resuscitation as needed, and contribute to VBAC planning and management
- Support postpartum/couplet care, patient education, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (respiratory, pharmacy, social work, radiology, nursing leadership) to ensure safe, efficient care and patient flow

Requirements
- Active WA RN license or compact-state license required
- Minimum 2 years RN L&D/perinatal experience; candidates from facilities with 200+ deliveries preferred, 100–200 deliveries may be considered
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate OR Relias Fetal Monitoring
- Mandatory sterile vaginal exam (SVE) skill documented
- EPIC charting experience required
- Ability to work in a high-risk perinatal/L&D setting; weekends required; float to postpartum as needed
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Pre-start modules required (approx. 16 hours; >20 hours requires PM approval)
- Must be able to meet facility parking requirements and complete orientation
