Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a six-week travel assignment in a long-term care setting located in Dunn, North Carolina. The role focuses on geriatric patient care in a nursing home environment. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessment and monitoring of health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Monitor vital signs, respond to changes in condition, and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary team.
- Document care activities and resident responses according to facility policies; ensure smooth shift handoffs.
- Support residents with activities of daily living and implement geriatric care plans to promote comfort and safety.
- Uphold infection control, safety, and patient privacy standards; collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and other staff to optimize care.

Requirements
- Active North Carolina LPN license
- Minimum 12 months of recent LPN experience, preferably in a geriatric or long-term care setting
- Credentialing items must be completed by 09/09/2026 or ASAP
- Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
- Available for weekend rotation every other weekend
- Able to work in a long-term care environment and follow care plans and policies
