Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents within a corrections setting under supervision
- Administer medications and document administration accurately
- Monitor vital signs, assess for changes in condition, and report findings to the supervising RN
- Perform wound care and dressing changes as ordered; manage basic nursing procedures
- Assist with activities of daily living and support resident safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate charting, complete incident reporting, and uphold infection control and safety protocols
Requirements
- Active LPN license in North Carolina (in good standing)
- Ability to work in a corrections setting
- Availability for an 8-week travel assignment starting 04/27/2026; guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to document clearly and follow directions
