Surgical Tech – CVOR / Hybrid Cath Lab, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Start date: 05/26/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,092–$2,220 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 4x10-hour rotating. Work setting: hospital CVOR with a Hybrid Cath Lab environment.

Responsibilities
- Scrub in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) cases, maintaining sterile technique and proper instrument handling.
- Assist the surgical team with cardiology procedures in the hybrid cath lab, passing instruments and maintaining a ready-workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, implants, and equipment; manage counts and specimen handling per protocol.
- Position patients, transport supplies, and assist with intraoperative positioning and patient safety during procedures.
- Coordinate with circulating staff, anesthesia, and specialty teams to ensure efficient case flow and patient care.
- Document perioperative activities, instrument usage, and any intraoperative events in the medical record.
Requirements
- Active Colorado CST license (DORA) required
- Certification in Surgical Technology from NBSTSA or AST or NCCT
- Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program
- CVOR CST experience; experience in a Hybrid Cath Lab setting preferred
- Current BLS certification via the American Heart Association
- Must reside at least 75 miles away from the assignment location
- Ability to work in a hospital CVOR / Hybrid Cath Lab environment
