Physical Therapy Assistant – Travel opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This assignment starts on 05/04/2026 for 13 weeks in a skilled nursing facility environment. Compensation ranges from $1,604 to $1,750 per week, with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift is 5x8 days. This is a travel, temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide delegated physical therapy assistant support under the supervision of a licensed PT in a skilled nursing setting.
- Implement treatment plans developed by the physical therapist, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and activities of daily living training.
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, mobility, and use of rehabilitative equipment; monitor patient safety at all times.
- Document patient progress, response to interventions, and any changes in condition in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the PT, nursing, and therapy teams; participate in care planning discussions and daily rounds.
- Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and ensure infection control standards are followed.
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant licensure as required by state law.
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment and follow established PT treatment plans.
- Willingness to participate in a temporary travel assignment with guaranteed hours.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Demonstrated reliability in documentation and adherence to safety and privacy standards.
- Experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing settings is preferred.
