This travel assignment involves operating CT imaging in a high-demand, acute-care setting with floating between the Emergency Department and Main CT.

Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging for a broad patient population from neonates to geriatrics according to physician orders
- Operate GE CT scanners (VCT 64-slice, HD750, Frontier 64-slice) and optimize protocols for quality and speed
- Conduct contrast studies, CT angiography, perfusion studies; perform image reconstruction/MPR/3D as needed
- Maintain stroke imaging workflow with rapid acquisition and interpretation to support acute stroke protocols
- Provide imaging support for trauma and high-acuity ED cases; assist with interventional/advanced procedures when applicable
- Ensure patient safety, contrast administration safety, and adherence to radiation safety guidelines; monitor for adverse reactions
- Document exams in Epic; ensure images and reports are correctly routed to PACS (PACS: Phillips preferred) and radiology team
- Communicate effectively with ED staff, radiologists, and other team members; be adaptable to float between ER and Main CT per workload

Requirements
- Certifications: ARRT-CT, ARRT(R), BLS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year CT experience required; 2 years preferred for first-time travelers
- Practical experience: Recent GE CT scanner experience within the past year
- Clinical proficiency: Stroke protocol efficiency; trauma imaging experience (Level II required; Level I preferred)
- Specialty skills: Ability to manage common CT procedures (contrast studies, CTA, perfusion, image reconstruction/MPR/3D)
- Work setting: Comfortable working in a high-volume ED imaging environment; able to float between ER and Main CT as needed
