Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients on the assigned unit, including nursing assessments and plan of care.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and IV therapies, and manage changes in condition with appropriate escalation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education.
- Document all nursing care and patient progress in the electronic charting system (EPIC) with accurate vitals, assessments, and interventions.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, respond to clinical changes, and maintain infection prevention and safety standards.
- Perform charge responsibilities as needed, assist with flow and bed management, and participate in unit staffing decisions.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 2 years of acute hospital experience with at least 1 year in med-surg/telemetry
- EPIC charting experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; flexibility to cover 36–48 hours per week and weekend rotations
- Nursing degree (RN) required; U.S. work history as applicable per visa status
