Travel Radiology CT Tech Job
CT Technologist travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date: 04/20/2026 for a 13-week engagement at a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,619 to $2,717 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 12-hour shifts with a Fri–Sat 7:00 PM–7:30 AM schedule, on-call and holiday coverage as needed; 2–3 call shifts per month. This assignment requires active NYS licensure and ARRT certification in Radiography, with appropriate injection therapy certification on the license as applicable.

Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; adhere to department safety protocols.
- Prepare patients for CT studies, explain the procedure, and address patient comfort; insert IVs when necessary for contrast.
- Position patients and operate CT equipment, coordinating with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging; familiarity with Philips and Siemens systems is preferred.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC, ensure correct image capture, and verify transmission to the PACS system after exam completion.
- Uphold a clean, safe scanning facility; apply safe patient handling practices, including safe movement of patients with limited mobility.
- Handle on-call duties and holiday coverage as required by the unit; participate in continuous quality and safety initiatives.
Requirements
- NYS licensure as a Radiologic Technologist prior to starting; injection therapy certification stated on the NYS license at submission.
- Completion of formal radiologic technology training from an approved School of Radiologic Technology; ARRT certification in Radiography.
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- Minimum two years CT technologist experience; Level I Trauma Center experience preferred.
- Siemens scanner experience required or preferred (minimum 6 months); Philips experience also beneficial.
- Epic experience highly desired (1 year preferred).
- Ability to work in a hospital imaging setting and perform safe patient handling; strong communication and teamwork skills.
