Travel Registered Nurse Tele Job
Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Tele) | Saint Louis, Missouri | Travel assignment start 07/27/2026 | Duration: Weeks | Weekly pay: $1,822-$1,934 per week | Guaranteed hours: 36 per week for 3x12 shifts | Shift: 3x12 Nights | Setting: Telemetry-focused Progressive Care Unit on an acute care hospital floor. This travel role requires an RN to work nights on a telemetry-heavy PCU, with occasional floating within the Telemetry scope of practice. Orientation is 38 hours prior to start.

Responsibilities
- Monitor adult patients with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation; respond to rhythm changes and hemodynamic instability
- Administer basic cardiac medications and manage stroke telemetry cases within scope; implement non-invasive airway support and oxygen therapy as needed
- Maintain perimeter care duties including peripheral IV management, isolation precautions and PPE usage
- Perform routine assessments, document in the electronic charting system (EPIC), and communicate patient status to the care team
- Collaborate with the unit secretary and interdisciplinary team to coordinate admissions, discharges, and patient education
- Participate in unit activities including safe patient handling, fall prevention, and escalation of concerns to the charge nurse as appropriate
Requirements
- Licensure: MO license submission allowed without MO license; MO or compact license required prior to issuance; IL license in hand required at submittal
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS/BLS, NIH/NIHSS
- Experience: 2 years RN experience; previous charge or travel experience not required
- Education: Current RN license; education aligned with state board requirements
- Compliance and start readiness: Pending license acceptance; documents due by 3:00 PM CST on the Monday before start; mandatory pre-start modules and labs; facial hair must permit proper fit testing if required
- Vaccination policy: Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
