Responsibilities
- Provide support during invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures to treat cardiac, vascular, arterial, venous, and structural heart disorders
- Assist with device implantation and removal, and manage leads as required
- Maintain sterile technique and prepare instrumentation, equipment, and supplies for procedures
- Help with intra-procedural imaging guidance and ensure accurate documentation of findings
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, responding to changes in condition and coordinating with the team
- Participate in post-procedure care and recovery of patients, aligning with department protocols and safety standards
Requirements
- Interventional radiology tech experience in a catheterization lab or similar setting (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment
- Flexibility to rotate shifts and maintain a 40-hour workweek
- Eligibility for a travel healthcare assignment and ability to operate within a hospital setting
