Responsibilities
- Provide imaging support and patient care during interventional radiology procedures under physician direction.
- Assist with vascular access, catheter advancement, device placement/removal, and lead management.
- Prepare procedural suites, maintain sterile technique, monitor patient status, and document procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy and related modalities) to guide interventions while observing radiation safety practices.
- Support post-procedure recovery, monitor vitals, and communicate changes to the IR team.
- Maintain equipment safety checks, perform routine QC, and ensure adherence to policies and safety standards.
Requirements
- Active radiologic technology license in California
- ARRT certification in Radiography; Interventional Radiography certification preferred
- Interventional radiology experience is preferred
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced interventional setting and a rotating schedule
