Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patients, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; adjust as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and report changes to the multidisciplinary team.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Document care accurately and communicate with patients, families, and care teams to ensure safety and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to optimize patient outcomes and adherence to policies.
Requirements
- Current, active RN license in California
- Ability to work night shift (12-hour shifts)
- Willingness to participate in a travel temporary assignment for 13 weeks
