Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA, within a home healthcare - hospice setting. The assignment starts 06/08/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week. Weekly pay ranges from $1,909 to $1,943. This travel temporary assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Active RN licensure in the state of practice is required, along with BLS, ACLS, and HLFS certifications. BSN is preferred. Acute care and recent OR/surgical specialty experience are preferred. Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care as part of the OR team, including preoperative assessment, sterile prep, and intraoperative monitoring.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers, manage instruments and equipment, and ensure sterile field and proper supply handling.
- Monitor patient status throughout the intraoperative period, respond to changes in condition, and document care per policy.
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and privacy; communicate effectively with the surgical team and post-anesthesia care staff.
- Complete accurate postoperative documentation and ensure thorough handoffs to recovery or next-care providers.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California (state of practice) required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required; HLFS (Hospital Fire and Life Safety) certification required.
- BSN degree preferred.
- Acute care facility experience preferred; recent OR/surgical specialty experience required.
- Ability to work in an OR environment and participate in a travel assignment; submission should include preferred start date, RTO, DOB, and SSN.
