Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery in Templeton, California. Start date: 04/27/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Night shift (3x12-hour blocks) 1900–0730. Weekly pay $2,236–$2,358 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. LDRP model care in an acute care setting; no on-call required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients within the LDRP model
- Monitor fetal heart rate, maternal vitals, and progress of labor; administer medications as ordered
- Assist during labor, delivery, and postpartum care; support for vaginal deliveries and cesarean procedures as needed
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiology, nursing team, and ancillary staff; document in the electronic medical record
- Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies; implement safety and infection control protocols
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning and lactation support as appropriate
Requirements
- California RN license (active) required
- BSN: Preferred
- Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN-NLD/L&D experience within the last 3 months in the submitted unit specialty
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; acute care facility experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts (1900–0730) and rotate as needed; ability to function in a Labor and Delivery / LDRP environment
