Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, US. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks in a high-volume ED with float pool responsibilities. Weekly pay: $1,632–$1,717 per week; Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights. Setting: hospital emergency department.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a busy emergency department for adult and pediatric patients, including triage, assessment, stabilization, and treatment.
- Manage care for boarder patients and coordinate with inpatient teams; may float to med/surg, stepdown, or ICU units as needed.
- Administer medications, manage IV lines, perform procedures within scope, and prepare patients for diagnostic testing and disposition.
- Document patient encounters in the electronic health record; communicate with physicians, bed management, and ancillary staff to support timely care and patient safety.
- Uphold infection control, patient safety, and quality standards; educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a similarly sized level 1 trauma facility
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Resume with no gaps, ED skills checklist, and ED references
- Ability to work in a high-volume ED and potentially float to adjacent acute units
- Onboarding requirements: load demographics and badge-friendly photo
