Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to ICU patients following the nursing process and established standards of care
- Monitor patient status, assess needs, administer medications and therapies, and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the care team to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across multiple levels to ensure safe, efficient care delivery
- Document care accurately; uphold patient safety, comfort, and education
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion in decision-making
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- ICU nursing experience (preferred; candidates with recent critical care experience will be considered)
- Ability to work nights and manage 12-hour shift schedules
- Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Ability to meet assignment-specific credentialing and regulatory requirements
