Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel) in Omaha, Nebraska, US. Start date: 04/20/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $1,981–$2,078 per week with guaranteed 36 hours. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and rehab-influenced populations, with timely assessments and evolving care plans
- Administer medications and IV therapy; monitor for adverse effects; initiate appropriate interventions
- Perform IV access and maintain IV therapy according to policy and patient needs
- Document care and outcomes in Sunrise charting; communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care planning, discharge planning, and patient education
- Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; respond to changes in patient status and emergencies
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (rehab or Med/Surg preferred)
- IV therapy experience required
- Sunrise charting experience preferred or ability to learn quickly
- Ventilation experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with a 3x12-hour day shift schedule and weekend requirements
- Active RN licensure and eligibility for practice in the assignment location
