Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for neuro ICU and IMCU patients, performing comprehensive neuro assessments, monitoring neurological status, and recognizing changes in patient condition.
- Manage critical care needs, including hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, and supporting ventilated patients as required.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care plans, participate in rounds, and communicate changes in patient status to physicians and families.
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and discharge planning.
- Float between ICU and stepdown units based on patient acuity and census; adhere to unit-specific protocols and patient safety standards.
- Ensure safe patient transport, wound care, and daily living activities support, while maintaining infection control and quality measures.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU/IMCU RN experience with strong neuro-focused care.
- Ability to float between ICU and stepdown units as needed; comfort with high-acuity patients and fluctuating workloads.
- Profile requirements: resume/work history with no gaps greater than 60 days, Skills Checklist, references, Certification Card, and Nursys license verification.
- Must have an active nursing license validated via Nursys; ability to meet credentialing and orientation requirements.
- Demonstrated proficiency in neuro assessments and critical care nursing principles; commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
