Travel Registered Nurse MICU Job
Registered Nurse – MICU in an inpatient critical care setting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This travel - temporary assignment starts July 6, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,276 to $2,302, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shifts are 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). This MICU/ICU role requires current clinical expertise in adult critical care within an acute care environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for critically ill adult patients in the MICU, including monitoring and responding to rapidly changing conditions.
- Manage ventilator support, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex IV therapies as prescribed.
- Administer medications and therapies, titrate treatments, and assess patient responses; coordinate with the multidisciplinary team for evolving plans of care.
- Document in EPIC EMR, perform accurate charting, and communicate vital information during rounds and handoffs.
- Ensure patient safety and infection control practices; respond to emergencies and participate in code/rapid response scenarios as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapy, and other team members; plan and execute patient care plans and transitions of care.
Requirements
- ICU/MICU experience: 2+ years in a critical care setting
- Education: BSN degree required
- Certifications/EMR: EPIC experience (EMR charting and workflows)
- Licensure: Active RN license (state requirements per assignment)
- RTO/EOW: RTO requests must allow for all three shifts in a week; extended time off not allowed if it disrupts coverage
- Travel/Contract: Previous travel or contract nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in an acute care MICU setting
