Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising physical therapist with implementation of treatment plans for patients requiring physical therapy services.
- Perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, and modalities within the PTA scope of practice under supervision.
- Prepare treatment areas, assist with equipment setup, and ensure the safety and comfort of patients during sessions.
- Monitor patient progress, document treatment provided and responses, and communicate changes to the PT team.
- Support patient education on home exercise programs and activities of daily living as directed.
- Maintain clean, organized clinical areas and comply with all documented policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment.
- Ability to work 36 hours per week, with a Day shift schedule.
- Effective communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to adhere to facility policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform essential PTA duties and adapt to a temporary clinical setting.
