Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
- Screen patients for contraindications, obtain consent where required, and ensure safety during imaging.
- Position patients and coils correctly; select and optimize imaging sequences per exam protocol.
- Monitor patients throughout the MRI process and communicate findings or concerns to the radiology team.
- Ensure high-quality images with proper labeling, documentation, and consistency with imaging standards.
- Maintain MRI equipment, adhere to safety guidelines, infection control, and department housekeeping.
Requirements
- ARRT MRI certification (active)
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 12x3 Fri/Sat/Sun schedule
- Travel assignment readiness; ability to relocate to the listed assignment location
- Ability to operate in a hospital imaging environment and follow department protocols
