Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following physician orders and facility protocol
- Monitor resident conditions, perform routine assessments, and report changes to the supervising RN
- Assist with activities of daily living and provide patient education and comfort measures
- Document care provided and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
- Ensure safety, infection control, and compliance with facility policies during night shift duties
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and perform duties in a long-term care setting
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen as part of the assignment process
