Travel Registered Nurse Acute Care Job
Registered Nurse – Acute Care, travel assignment in Marietta, Georgia. Start date 06/01/2026 for a five-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $1,304 to $1,361 per week. This is a nights shift on a 3x12-hour schedule in a hospital setting. Travel - Temporary Assignment. The RN will work as part of an interdisciplinary care team, delivering high-quality, safe patient care in alignment with professional practice standards and organizational models.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and potentially non-acute patients within the acute care service line.
- Assess patient status, develop and adjust care plans, monitor responses to treatment, and document in the medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, monitor for adverse effects, and ensure safe administration practices.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, communicate with patients and families, and provide education on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Uphold patient safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement standards; adhere to policy, procedure, and credentialing requirements.
- Respond to changes in patient condition, participate in rounds and care coordination activities, and support continuity of care across shifts.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Ability to practice in accordance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, Scope of Practice, and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics
- Education: Completion of a qualifying nursing program and eligibility for Georgia licensure as an RN
- Experience: Acute care nursing competency expected; relevant experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Shift availability: Must be able to work night shift (3x12-hour schedule) and adapt to a hospital-based environment
- Communication and teamwork skills necessary to function within an interdisciplinary care team
