Setting: Travel assignment in a hospital setting with a Neuro ICU/IMCU unit that includes ICU and stepdown care and potential floating between the two

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients on a Neuro ICU/IMCU unit, including those requiring advanced neuro assessments and monitoring
- Perform comprehensive neurological checks, interpret changes, and implement appropriate interventions in collaboration with the medical team
- Manage medication administration, lines, devices, and invasive monitors per unit protocols
- Float between ICU and stepdown assignments as patient acuity and unit needs require, while maintaining safe staffing practices
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record; ensure accurate handoffs to oncoming staff
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a neuro ICU/IMCU or closely related neuro critical care setting
- Strong neuro-experience with ability to manage neuro status changes and critical care needs
- Ability to float between ICU and stepdown units as needed
- Profile requirements: resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, Skills Checklist, References, Certification Card, and Nursys License Verification
