Licensed Practical Nurse travel position in long-term care for Silver City, New Mexico. Start date: 03/24/2026. Duration: 12 weeks. Weekly pay: $991–$1,032 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses per the care plan.
- Perform routine nursing tasks: vital signs, wound care, injections, and routine assessments within scope.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility; promote safety and comfort.
- Document care provided, update charts, and communicate changes to the supervising RN.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust individualized care plans.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and uphold resident safety and quality of care standards.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1+ year of nursing experience, with LTC/long-term care preferred.
- Diploma from an approved practical nursing program.
- Ability to work three 12-hour day shifts (06:00–18:30) and adapt to patient needs.
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment in Silver City, NM.
