Setting: hospital-level care in an acute care environment; ability to scrub is a bonus but not required

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery patients
- Monitor maternal-fetal status, perform assessments, develop plans of care, and administer medications per protocol
- Assist with labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care; support breastfeeding and family education
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
- Scrub in for intraoperative procedures when needed (not required)
- Ensure patient safety, respond to emergencies, and escalate concerns to the obstetric team as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, nursing, and neonatal care teams to ensure smooth unit operations

Requirements
- Current registered nurse license in Washington; multi-state licenses accepted with verification
- Verification of demographics from Nursys
- Approved 6-hour suicide training
- BLS and NRP certifications required; STABLE training preferred but not required
- Experience or demonstrated competence in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour night shift in a hospital setting and participate in a travel assignment
- Knowledge of or exposure to Meditech is helpful but not required
- RTO (requested time off) must be approved and added to the end of the contract

Benefits and Support
- 36 guaranteed hours per week for the duration of the assignment
- Housing assistance with options in the assignment area (examples include nearby extended-stay and furnished housing)
- Additional shifts may be available for supplemental earnings
- RTO requests must be approved and appended to the contract end date
