Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Lamar, CO. Start date: 05/18/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,432–$2,502 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am). Setting: hospital-based medical-surgical unit within a facility that includes a critical access hospital environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit for a designated group of patients during the shift
- Perform ongoing assessments and data collection; formulate a goal-directed plan of care with priorities
- Administer medications and IV therapies; monitor patient response; participate in emergency situations per established protocols
- Communicate effectively with an interdisciplinary team; implement orders and document care accurately
- Supervise and coordinate assignments for LPNs and Nurse Aides; ensure safety and quality of care on the unit
- Maintain documentation and reporting to the Acute Care Services Manager as required
Requirements
- Colorado RN license in good standing; graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS certification or obtain within one year of employment
- Prior medical-surgical nursing experience; graduate nurses with one year of med-surg experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital_med-surg setting; ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform essential patient care tasks
- Must be able to work 12-hour night shifts and meet unit requirements
