Registered Nurse – Operating Room, Boston, MA. Start date 11/02/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,618–$2,783 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: 12-hour. Work setting: hospital operating room with 17 rooms, staffed 24/7, and coverage across multiple surgical services.

Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative nursing care as scrub and/or circulating RN, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures
- Prepare, position, drape, and assist with instrument handling and equipment; manage counts for instruments and sponges; ensure a sterile field
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, collaborate with anesthesia and surgical team, document events, and facilitate safe patient recovery and handoff
- Support a wide range of surgical specialties including gen, gyn, GU, oral, oto, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
- May float to another OR department as needed; participate in a schedule with on-call requirements and weekend coverage (every 3rd weekend; alternating holidays)
Requirements
- 2+ years of inpatient OR experience
- Scrub experience required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Ability to work across multiple service lines and support a high-volume OR
- Must be competent in at least 5 of the listed services
- On-call responsibilities and weekend coverage as part of the schedule
