Social Worker – Medical Social Worker (MSW or RN considered) in Everett, WA. Start date 05/18/2026 for an 8-week travel assignment. Compensation: $1,599–$1,642 per week. Responsibilities
- Conduct discharge planning and care coordination for adult and geriatric inpatients
- Perform interdisciplinary collaboration with PT, interpretation services, pharmacy, social services, and transportation teams
- Complete social work documentation in the charting system (EPIC) in a timely, accurate manner
- Support high-risk patients with Medicaid/Medicare discharge placements and DME referrals as appropriate
- Manage a caseload with typical daily census patterns and adapt to weekend fluctuations
- Provide case management support across medically complex inpatient populations
Requirements
- Active WA license in hand; pending license accepted per posting (confirm status at submittal)
- Certifications: BLS
- Licensure options for MSW track include LICSW, LSWAIC (associate), LASW, LSWAA
- Minimum 1 year of acute care and discharge planning / care coordination experience; first-timers accepted
- Ability to work in a hospital inpatient setting and float as needed across campuses within the area
