Registered Nurse - Rehab | Amsterdam, NY, United States | Start 07/06/2026 | 8 weeks | $1,747–$1,883 per week | Guaranteed hours: 0 | Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 pm–7:30 am) | Inpatient acute rehab unit in a short-term acute care setting. This travel assignment requires a qualified RN with rehab experience and current NYS licensure.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to inpatients receiving rehabilitation services, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Monitor patient status, vital signs, pain, and progress toward rehabilitation goals; document in the medical record per policy
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed; monitor for adverse reactions and side effects
- Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to implement and adjust individualized care plans
- Support activities of daily living, safety, and discharge planning; provide patient and family education on rehab exercises, equipment, and safe transitions
Requirements
- Active NYS Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation experience; travel experience preferred (renewals encouraged)
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts (1900–0730)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Eligible to work in the listed setting; travel candidates within 50 miles may be considered with a decreased bill rate
