Travel Radiology Tech MRI Tech Job
MRI Technologist with radiology specialization for a travel temporary assignment in Berlin, VT starting 07/30/2026 for 4 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,655 to $2,795. Shifts are 4x10-hour days. Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans across applicable modalities per protocol, ensuring high-quality images
- Administer IV contrast injections when clinically indicated and monitor for adverse reactions
- Prepare, position, and transport patients; screen for contraindications and safety risks (including implants and ferromagnetic items)
- Operate MRI equipment, adjust sequences, and optimize imaging parameters for diagnostic quality
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and radiation-safety protocols within MRI and adjacent imaging areas
- Document procedures and findings in the EMR (Epic) and communicate results with the radiology team; participate in unit-wide coverage as needed
- Float within radiology, fluoroscopy, OR, and related sites as required by scheduling
- Collaborate with technologists and physicians to support efficient patient throughput and accurate scheduling
Requirements
- Vermont license on file at time of submission
- ARRT MRI certification
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
- Teaching facility exposure is required
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- CT/X-ray trained; ability to work across radiology and OR environments
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts; on-call availability (1 night per week) and weekend coverage as described
- Must be able to pass required credentialing and meet facility safety standards
