This travel assignment places an RN who will float across critical care services, including ICU and related units, with EPIC EMR documentation and a strong emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU and float to other critical care areas including ER, ER hold (if patient assignments are available), and MTC/Step-Down/PACU holds as needed
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients; monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, and response to therapies
- Administer medications and treatments per orders; manage titrations and rapid response to clinical changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; communicate patient status effectively during handoffs and shift changes
- Maintain accurate EPIC EMR documentation for all assessments, plans, interventions, and outcomes
- Adhere to BLS and ACLS procedures; ensure infection control and safety standards are followed

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (unrestricted)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar-sized facility or in a high-acuity ICU/critical care setting
- EPIC EMR experience or strong familiarity with EPIC documentation
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Ability to float across multiple units within a large hospital environment as needed
