Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or patient group in the PACU using established standards and the nursing process.
- Monitor post-anesthesia patients, manage vitals, administer medications, and respond to clinical changes or complications.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other disciplines, and evaluate patient progress.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels, delegating duties and ensuring safe, effective care delivery.
- Provide patient and family education, participate in discharge planning, and document care thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, healing environment and promote continuous quality improvement.

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (state of practice)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-ALS; PALS as applicable
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in the field
- Education: BSN preferred
- Additional: Epic EMR experience required; ability to work in a PACU within an acute care setting
