Responsibilities
- Provide and administer nursing care to patients in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Follow established nursing procedures and hospital policies; document care per policy.
- Assess data reflective of the patient’s status across the lifespan and interpret information to identify age-specific needs.
- Document in and utilize the Cerner EMR system; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments per plan of care, and respond promptly to changes in status.
- Educate patients and families, promote safety, and adhere to standard precautions and infection control practices.
Requirements
- Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Colorado
- Current BLS certification
- Cerner EMR experience required
- BSN is preferred; two years of RN experience preferred (ER RN experience preferred)
- ACLS, PALS is preferred
- Basic computer knowledge; ability to work in a hospital setting
- Willingness to work a 3x12 day shift schedule (0630–1830)
