Travel Registered Nurse Tele Job
Registered Nurse - Telemetry in Saint Louis, MO, is a travel assignment beginning 04/20/2026. This Telemetry PCU (adult patients) position features 3x12-hour day shifts, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The assignment takes place in an acute care hospital setting, with EPIC for charting. The 38-hour orientation prepares you to meet unit expectations, and you will float within the Telemetry/service line and to affiliate hospitals as needed. Candidate collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and maintains patient monitoring, safety, and care standards for adult telemetry patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult telemetry patients, including continuous telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and adjust treatments per physician orders
- Establish and maintain peripheral IV access; manage lines and assess for complications
- Support non-invasive airway management and oxygen therapy as needed; monitor respiratory status
- Apply isolation precautions, adhere to PPE guidelines, and maintain infection control standards
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EPIC; communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (including unit secretary support) to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth unit operations
- Educate patients and families on test results, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
Requirements
- Active RN license (Missouri) or license eligible per recruiter guidance; pending license accepted per compliance notes
- Certification: ACLS, BCLS (BLS), NIHSS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; Telemetry/PCU experience preferred
- Education: Registered Nurse with completion of approved nursing program; ability to work in a Telemetry PCU environment
- Competency: Telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and dysrhythmia management; EPIC charting proficiency
- Ability to work the listed shift and location; float within Telemetry/service line as needed
