Responsibilities
- Provide continuous airway management for patients
- Ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support
- Collaborate with physicians on respiratory care plans; CPR and all aspects of respiratory therapy
- Perform bedside assessments and adjust ventilator settings as ordered
- Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators (V60), Para Pac Transport Vent, PB 980, PB 840; utilize computerized charting and Pyxis systems
- Provide care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations as needed
Requirements
- Hawaii State Respiratory Therapy license by start of assignment
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS required
- RRT certification preferred; NRP preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
- Ability to work in an inpatient care environment
