Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to students with health concerns, injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation per school policy and local regulations.
- Assess, triage, and respond to acute health events; initiate appropriate first aid and emergency protocols.
- Maintain confidential health records, communicate with families, and coordinate referrals as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and local health resources to support student well-being.
- Promote a safe, inclusive health office environment and adhere to relevant privacy and safety standards.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Washington state.
- Ability to work in a school health setting and manage multiple student health needs.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience preferred; pediatric or school-health experience is a plus.
- Availability to work eight-hour shifts on weekdays (5x8 schedule).
