Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Marysville, CA. Start date: 08/10/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,069–$2,201 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour Nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients on the ER unit using the nursing process, across age groups as assigned
- Triage, assess, monitor, and document patient condition; respond rapidly to emergencies
- Administer medications and IV therapies; manage charts and orders within the electronic medical record
- Coordinate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement the plan of care
- Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning and teaching
- Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff based on scope of practice and competence
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality of care during the shift
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire
- Emergency Department: PALS certification required at time of hire; TNCC certification within 1 year of hire; Demonstrated competency in IV Sedation within 6 months of hire
- Dysrhythmia competency demonstrated during Orientation (for all departments except Obstetrics/NICU)
- Minimum two years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience
- BSN preferred; ADN/ diploma considered with relevant experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and to collaborate effectively with the care team
