This is a local-only, temporary travel assignment arranged by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. The position emphasizes stable, clocked hours and consistent shifts in a nearby community, with a focus on resident-centered care in a geriatric population.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, under supervision and in collaboration with the supervising RN.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, perform routine assessments, document findings, and report significant changes promptly to the charge nurse.
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility, feeding) and support safe transfers and repositioning.
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record, maintain continuity of care, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards, including medication safety, patient identifying data protection, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico (NM LPN)
- Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule (07:00–19:30)
- Local candidate only; Albuquerque-area submissions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; competent in clinical documentation and adherence to policies
