Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele (Cardiac unit) in Rochester, NY. Travel - Temporary Assignment starting 10/05/2026 for several weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,130 per week to $2,267 per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care as an adult and geriatric RN on a MS/Tele unit with cardiac diagnoses
- Monitor vital signs, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to rhythm changes; activate rapid responses as needed
- Administer medications, initiate and manage IV therapy, draw blood, and provide basic airway support as appropriate
- Maintain Epic charting accuracy; document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (IV team, PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Transport, Unit Secretary) to coordinate care
- Ensure isolation precautions and proper PPE use; manage oxygen delivery and non-invasive airway support
- Support discharge planning and patient education; assist with ADLs and safety measures
- PCT support for vitals, glucose checks, EKGs, and routine tasks as applicable

Requirements
- Active NY RN license in hand to submit (pending licenses not accepted)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (MS/Tele or cardiac-focused)
- MS/Tele nursing experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with adult and geriatric populations
- Epic charting experience is referenced in compliance notes (preferred/required per policy)
- On-site orientation and ability to float within scope; no on-call required
- RTO cannot exceed 1 week in contract (confirm with account manager)
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
