Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Start date 06/08/2026 for a weeks-based duration. Weekly pay ranges from $1,907 to $2,012. No guaranteed hours. Shift is 3×12 nights. Unit is a 20-bed ICU with adult and geriatric patients, including sepsis, post–cardiac arrest, and ARDS. This assignment is a travel-temporary position in a hospital setting. Orientation is 8 hours. EPIC is the charting system used.

- Floating: May float to Med-Surg as needed; must be >75 miles away (not accepting locals within 75 miles)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in the ICU, including monitoring, assessments, and timely interventions
- Ventilator management and arterial/central line care; ABG interpretation
- CRRT/CVVHD support; vasoactive and cardiac drip titration; blood product administration
- Post–cardiac care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management; HFNC/BiPAP/CPAP care
- Collaborate with IV team, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, PT, radiology, social work; participate in rapid response when needed
- Use EPIC for charting; document assessments, interventions, and patient progress
Requirements
- NY State Registered Nurse license in hand to submit
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience
- Mandatory phlebotomy and IV placement competency
- Ability to work in ICU with 1:2 patient ratio
- EPIC charting experience
- Must be located more than 75 miles from the assignment; locals within 75 miles will not be considered
