GGH Level 1 RN Nurse Supervisor - FT Nights in Geneva, NY. This travel - temporary assignment begins on 04/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,101 to $2,191. Shift is 3x12 Nights. Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision for nursing staff during evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Coordinate and monitor staffing based on patient acuity, collaborating with Nursing Leadership to adjust assignments according to policy and guidelines.
- Support planning, organization, and delivery of nursing care for patients across all ages; mentor and coach staff to ensure evidence-based practice.
- Serve as a resource for staff and physicians, facilitating communication and ensuring regulatory compliance with The Nurse Practice Act and clinical protocols.
- Participate in problem-solving, quality improvement, and patient care initiatives; respond to emergencies and assist with complex clinical or administrative situations as needed.
- Promote a culture of professional development, competency, and consistent, compassionate care; facilitate staff competency assessments on shifts and weekends.
Requirements
- Active NYS RN licensure
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
- Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of critical care experience (preferably ED)
- 1 year of leadership/charge nurse experience
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts, plus the ability to engage with nursing leadership and staff across evening, night, weekend, and holiday schedules
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate care for patients across age groups
