Travel Registered Nurse, Case Management in Behavioral Health — Juneau, Alaska, United States. Start date 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $3,150–$3,398 per week. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care aligned with Alaska BON scope.
- Apply nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; administer medications and treatments per orders and policy; monitor for changes and escalate as needed.
- Facilitate medical care and medication refills for Behavioral Health/Psychiatry patients; coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, and insurance as required.
- Gather information for prescriber visits; conduct nursing evaluations, injections, and lab collection as appropriate; coordinate care plans with primary and specialty providers.
- Deliver culturally sensitive, evidence-based mental health/SUD nursing care; provide case management for outpatients of all ages; educate patients and families; identify needs for further nursing or case management support.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; participate in quality and performance improvement activities. May float to other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Active Alaska Registered Nurse license at time of submittal
- Case Management experience within the last 2 years
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Proof of influenza vaccination may be required
- Ability to work in a behavioral health outpatient setting; maintain confidentiality and regulatory compliance
