Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Travel) role in Utica, NY, United States. This travel assignment starts on July 6, 2026 and runs for approximately 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,191 to $2,292, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift pattern is 2x3 days. Setting: hospital-level Emergency Department with travel requirements and unit-wide responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care in the Emergency Department for adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients, including initial assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered; respond to acute changes in patient condition and participate in rapid sequence and resuscitation efforts as needed.
- Document all patient care activities in the EPIC EMR, ensure accuracy and timely communication with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and appropriate handoffs.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy; participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives; and float to related ED areas as required.
Requirements
- Active New York RN license (Nursys verification)
- 3+ years ED nursing experience; pediatric exposure preferred
- Travel experience required
- Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC must be in hand
- EPIC EMR experience
- Ability to float to other ED areas as needed
- Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
- RTO must be included at submission
