Job Description
Are you a reliable, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant looking to take your skills on the road? We are seeking experienced Travel CNAs to support the residents of our partner Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing facilities.
This position is specifically dedicated to the Evening Shift. If you excel at providing high-quality resident care during the busy afternoon-to-night transition and love the flexibility and high pay of travel contracting, we want you on our team!
What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality, compassionate activities of daily living (ADLs) support to long-term care residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist residents with safe transferring, ambulation, and positioning using proper body mechanics and mechanical lifts when required.
Obtain and record vital signs, weights, and food/fluid intake accurately.
Answer call lights promptly and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents during the evening hours.
Support residents during dinner service, assisting with feeding and hydration as outlined in individual care plans.
Report any changes in resident condition, behavior, or skin integrity immediately to the supervising Charge Nurse.
Position Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a CNA in a Long-Term Care (LTC), Assisted Living, or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Prior travel contract experience is a plus.
Certification: Active, valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of assignment (or eligible for immediate reciprocity).
Registry: Must be in good standing with the state nurse aide registry with no active findings of abuse or neglect.
Certifications: Active BLS or CPR certification.
Schedule Availability: Dedicated availability to consistently work evening shifts, including alternating weekends and holidays as scheduled.
