Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Templeton, California. Start date: 07/13/2026. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a 36-hour work week on a nights rotation (3x12-hour shifts). The role supports a hospital-based L&D unit and includes the professional responsibilities of an RN focused on patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. This assignment is represented by a professional nursing OS, with CNA oversight. Weekly pay ranges from $2,530 to $2,740.

Responsibilities
- Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Coordinate, manage, provide and delegate nursing care to patients in the L&D setting.
- Adhere to established Standards of Nursing Practice and promote cooperation among the health care team.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, document findings, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, care plans, and postoperative instructions; advocate for patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in California (or eligibility/licensure transfer as allowed).
- BLS certification required.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN).
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing or related obstetric care preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts and function effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
